Bringing divestment from genocide to the ballot.

We are an intergenerational, interracial, and interfaith group of Providence community members united in our steadfast advocacy for Palestinian liberation. We believe it is unacceptable for our tax dollars to support companies complicit in genocide rather than being invested in our own community. Frustrated by the hypocrisy of our elected officials and inspired by the actions of Somerville for Palestine, we decided to pursue a ballot initiative of our own: bringing Providence’s divestment from genocide directly to voters.
